Hello December

Its December 15th, and I've just removed the 'happy thanksgiving' blog background :o) much to my husbands urging. But that's just been the month so far! Busy! I'm considering December to actually only have 20 days, since we will be having family festivities at the end of the month, and who ever gets things done then? So everything needs to be done by Saturday, the 19th :0/ including my handmade Christmas presents to the family.

In other news...

-We stopped using formula and switched to whole milk. YAY! We've been pricing the whole organic milk everywhere to find the best prices. So far Whole Foods has the best price, but we've yet to get to trader joe's. I say it will be a close call!

-I got a hair cut :o) it requires some work to actually look right, and that work I don't have time for yet this week, so I've let it just be a hot mess. Its still long enough for a hair tie for a reason.

-ALL of Jsun's Christmas concerts are OVER for 2009!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness. If I could scream this from the rooftops I would. 9 concerts later, and numerous practices and dress rehearsals... we are done :o)

- Anyone else watch Ellen? I am so crazy jealous of the 12 days of Christmas that she does. They are insane! I keep telling my mom that next year is our year to get on it... and believe me I am going to try!

-Darby's naps have been horribly off the last couple days, and I am hoping to have them back on soon. It makes therapy kind of rough.

-I have holiday baking to do still :o/

I should be going. The To-Do list is growing and its incredibly unforgiving. Happy Wednesday everyone!

Thursday Top 5

1. I decided that when you leave the hospital with your newborn, along with the tubs of formula, and free samples of diaper cream, you should be issued a pound of coffee and told, "this will be your best friend. good luck."

2. To nap or to energy drink.... THAT is the question.

3. My neighborhood has been taken over by Hollywood. And for some reason, I'm really okay with that.

4. I have a love hate relationship with fresh produce. I know its good for me and I'd like to buy it and eat it. But I hate the fact that 1/3rd of it always dies in my fridge, no matter how much home cooking I do. No really, it always happens.

5. I love that Darby loves Jake and Amber :o) I can't tell you how it makes me SO happy to know there are friends that Darby loves and feels comfortable with, and that love him too!
